Mention that you are a “blogger” and many get the impression that you simply share photos from your iPhone on a blogging platform to brag about what you’re up to. (If you are, that’s ok, it’s called a “Journal”). Let’s be clear – producing great content as a side hustle, or even as your primary job, requires both discipline and passion for what you do.
Full disclosure: I took a year-long break from creating content at yourhomeonlybetter.com. I pretty much just let my blog sit idle while I dealt with other things. But I’m back now, and plan to share wins, losses, and learnings of creating content as a side hustle here for anyone who would like to see the real behind-the-scenes of what I do.
I should mention, that since I’ve last been writing, I’ve changed my computer, software, camera, and hosting platform. So it all feels new to me, which is why I’m so exited to share my process for producing content with a fresh perspective. Good processes and flows are key to efficiency. I hope to achieve that soon.
